This summer Skate Oakville is proud to be offering a variety of programming for various levels. The summer session will begin on Monday July 4th, 2022 and run until Friday August 26, 2022.

Weekly sessions are now available for online registration.

Here is the revised Summer 2022 Schedule as of June 6th, 2022.

COMP-1

Skaters in this program will participate in 5 specific training days per week, which include on-ice and off-ice instruction. On ice classes include on ice individual training sessions as well as group lesson time. Off ice classes will include strength and conditioning, flexibility, essentrics and other activities that will enhance the skater's training. Skaters are expected to arrive prior to on ice sessions for scheduled warm up times.

Requirements:

  • Skaters landing double axel and higher
  • Skaters must be competing at 2022 Summer Competitions- Pre Novice or higher
  • Skaters who are competing Internationally
  • Skaters must participate in the off ice program
  • Skater may be invited by the Competitive Director

COMP-2

Skaters in this program will participate in 5 specific training days per week, which include on-ice and off-ice instruction. On ice classes include on ice individual training sessions as well as group lesson time. Skaters are expected to arrive prior to on ice sessions for scheduled warm up times.

Requirements: 

  • Skaters landing at least 2 double jumps
  • Skaters competing at the STAR 5, Pre Juvenile or Juvenile level for the 2022-23 season
  • Skaters must participate in the off ice program
  • Skater may be invited by the Competitive Director

High Open

This is an open session for skaters that meet the following criteria:

Requirements:

  • Skaters who qualify for the Comp 1 program
  • Skaters competing Pre Novice or higher in the summer of 2022
  • Skaters who have competed at the Novice level or higher
  • Skater may be invited by the Competitive Director

STAR A, STAR B, STAR C, STAR D, Open and Junior Academy qualification remain the same for the Summer as per the current guidelines posted on the Skating Programs page.

Comp 1 Package:

$345.00 per week

Comp 2 Package:

$300.00 per week

Dance:

$54.00 per week

Pairs Package:

$375.00 per week

STAR A/Jr Academy:

$160.00 per week

STAR B/C Groups:

$175.00 per week

High Open:

$100.00 per week

Change/Cancellation/Refund Policy

Skate Oakville Change/Cancellation/Refund Policies - Summer 2022

Changes before July 4, 2022.

  1. Withdrawal and change requests must be in writing by email to (office@skateoakville.ca).
  2. Program withdrawals before the program start date can either be refunded in full or credit applied to the family Skate Oakville account.
  3. The $44 Skate Canada fee is non-refundable for any reason.

Changes made on or after July 4, 2022, and on or before the Friday preceding the week of change.

  1. Withdrawal and change requests must be in writing by email to (office@skateoakville.ca).
  2. All program changes and withdrawals will be subject to a $15 change fee. This is not a one-time charge. Each subsequent change will incur the $15 change fee.
  3. Refunds will not be issued once the program has commenced, instead, a credit will be applied to the family Skate Oakville account.
  4. Refunds will be issued in exceptional circumstances (injury with Doctors note, skater, leaving the Club) at the Board’s discretion.

Changes made on or after the Saturday before the week of the change:

  1. No account credits will be issued for any changes and withdrawals made on or after the Saturday before the week of the change.
  2. Refunds will be issued in exceptional circumstances (injury with Doctors note, skater, leaving the Club) at the Board’s discretion.

Missed Classes:

  1. There are no opportunities for make-up sessions for sessions missed for any reason.

Program changes by Club:

  1. Any skater moved off a waitlist into a program will be able to pay as usual without incurring a change fee.
  2. Any skater moved from one level to another initiated by the Club will have a pro-rated credit issued for any sessions left on the previous program, which will be applied to the family Skate Oakville account. This can then be applied to the pro-rated costs of the new program. No change fees will apply.
